Among the characteristics of his work we must highlight the inspiration in nature, achieving relief through the use of dense and generally dark impasto. The Mediterranean and Africa have been two of his most important references. The discovery of Africa on a trip to Mali has made its people and desert life one of the most developed themes in his work in recent years, always reflecting a great concern for nature, the passage of time and origins.
