Hello Im Cris, The Modern Art Picker

My history with posters began years ago when I collaborated in a small project at La Fundació Miró in Palma de Mallorca. I was fascinated by Joan Miró and the poster work he developed during the 70s.

At that time I began to investigate Miró's work with posters and how he collaborated with Catalan organizations to bring Catalan culture to the world. Along the way I found posters by Antoni Tapies, Pablo Picasso, Eduardo Chillida, Javier Mariscal, Miquel Barceló, etc ... and discovered that during the 70s and 80s there was an extensive production of high quality posters. Art galleries like Maeght or Joan Prats made very interesting posters.

After a couple of years collecting posters, art prints, serigraphs, lithographs, sculptures and objects related to modern art, I decided to share all those wonderful pieces of art ... and so was born " The Modern Art Picker "
