Francesca Llopis y Planas (Barcelona 1958) is a Spanish painter and video artist. Her works are based on and have as main focus her travels and nature, working the projects with different techniques such as painting, drawing and video installations.
She enrolled at the EINA (Centro Universitario de Diseño y Arte) school in Barcelona in 1976 where he coincided with artists Dani Freixes, América Sánchez, Albert Ràfols-Casamada, Maria Girona and Manel Esclusa, among others. Between 1979 and 1981 he shared an interior design studio with Josep Maria Civit and Toni Auquer and obtained an artistic residency grant at the Teater Studio within the Pałac Kultury in Warsaw. The coup d'état was a turning point in his work. She began to exhibit his work in 1981. ( thanks Wikipedia )
