A trip to Paris in 1970 allowed him to discover Art brut, a style that left a strong influence on the first works he presented in public. He was part of the group Taller Llunàtic de Mallorca. He studied at the School of Decorative Arts in Palma de Mallorca between 1972 and 1973 and continued in 1974 at the School of Fine Arts of Sant Jordi in Barcelona, but soon after he abandoned his studies. He currently lives between Paris, Majorca and Mali, in the Bandiagara Cliffs. Great Leaping Elephant (2009), in Barcelona. He began to be better known when he participated in the Sao Paulo Biennial (1981) and after Documenta VII in Kassel (1982), where Rudi Fuchs presented him; since then his work has been included in the most prestigious international exhibitions, becoming one of the greatest revelations of Spanish art in the eighties. In 2010, he is a guest professor at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Versailles. thanks to WIKIPEDIA.ORG
