America Sanchez received the National Design Award in 1992 and with the publication of Barcelona gráfica she received the City of Barcelona Award (2001). The Lafuente Archive and the Generalitat de Catalunya organized a restrospective of America Sanchez's work at the Palau Robert in Barcelona (October 21, 2019-February 23, 2020) and at the Centro Cultural-Librería Blanquerna in Madrid (February 28 to May 3, 2020).
