“They asked me that the poster refer basically to the symbol and that the intervention on it be minimal. I have tried to accentuate the dynamic aspect of the symbol by means of a gradient in each of the colors from the important inflection points of the symbol's contour. This dynamism from left to right is accentuated by the contrasting two vertical bands, also in degrade, which leave a glimpse of a central space where the symbol moves“.  Josep Maria Trias.

For the four official sports posters (the work of Josep M. Trias, Javier Mariscal, Enric Satué and Antoni Tàpies) and the eight painters' posters (by Eduardo Arroyo, Antoni Clave, Eduardo Chillida, Jean-Michel Folon, Josep Guinovart, Robert Llimós, Guillermo Pérez Villalta and Antonio Saura), in addition to the normal print run there was a limited edition in silk-screen and lithograph signed by the authors, which COOB'92 used as prestige gifts for the VIPs who visited Barcelona.
