Jorge Castillo's work can be found in museums all over the world, from the United States to Jerusalem. Compostela will host his permanent museum, by agreement of the artist with the Xunta de Galicia and the City Council of Santiago. It is close to surrealism, from which many of his creations are based, although it is also close, at times, to a certain very personal hyperrealism.
There is a purely testimonial stage, although subjectivized, in his paintings of New York, where the perspective of the gigantic architectures of this city is an excuse for unmistakable plastic exercises.
