Barcelona 1992 Olympic Poster by Saura Torrente · Colour Strokes · 70 × 50 cm · Condition 5/10

Barcelona 1992 Olympic Games poster by Saura Torrente, featuring horizontal colour strokes over a sweeping blue and turquoise composition. This vertical paper poster measures 70 × 50 cm and is supplied unframed. This particular vintage copy is rated 5/10.

Large deep-blue “Barcelona ’92” lettering heads the design. Yellow, green, red, blue and dark strokes cross a textured field of curved blue and turquoise marks, leaving areas of white visible between them. The Games emblem, Olympic rings and multilingual event text sit along the bottom, with a Telefónica sponsorship credit at the lower right. The margin credits the graphic design to “Saura / Torrente”.

Condition and edition

Vintage condition, rated 5/10. The photographs show curling and waviness along the edges, with several creases on the left margin, particularly in the lower-left area, and smaller creases along the right edge, including the upper-right section. Please examine all four photographs for this specific copy’s margins, corners and signs of handling.

The broken, brush-like textures and white gaps within the coloured composition are printed design elements rather than, by themselves, evidence of surface loss. No handwritten signature, numbered edition or specific printing technique is documented for this copy. This 70 × 50 cm Telefónica-sponsored poster is a separate item from the larger ADG-FAD Saura Torrente poster and from other copies in the store.

Colour and display

Turquoise and deep blue dominate, crossed by warm yellow, green, red and near-black strokes against a light ground. The cool sweeping field gives the brighter horizontal accents a lively rhythm. This poster would suit a creative workspace, a contemporary living room or a colourful sports-design collection. Pale wood and white walls would keep it fresh, while teal upholstery or a small yellow accessory could echo the palette without overwhelming the room.
