Barça won La Liga again with Xavi’s arrival as manager, but one of the best seasons in recent years came under Hansi Flick. The German manager ushered in a new era characterised by ambition and fine football. With a strengthened and youthful squad, in which the emerging talent of Lamine Yamal shone, Barça enjoyed an almost perfect 2024/25 season, winning the Spanish Super Cup, La Liga and the Copa del Rey, and coming within a whisker of the European final.

At the same time, the Club celebrated its 125th anniversary under the slogan ‘Volem la pilota’, championing its own distinctive style of play. A series of institutional and cultural events commemorated the Blaugrana’s history, culminating in a final celebration that highlighted the legacy and identity of a footballing model based on possession and the talent of La Masia, now an eternal symbol of Barcelona’s spirit.
